Food Service 5000 Oven & Griddle Cleaner Concentrate

Highly alkaline concentrated cleaner and degreaser purpose-built for foodservice kitchens. Dilutes from 1:1 (heavy duty) to 1:30 (deep-clean fryers) to remove carbonized deposits, baked-on grease, and oil from cooking surfaces. The concentrate counterpart to the Food Service 5100 ready-to-use formula — choose this where dilution economics matter and your team is set up to mix and rinse.

Dilution guide:

• Ovens & equipment (regular cleaning): 1:3 with water — apply, dwell 5–10 min, scrub with a soft nylon pad if needed, rinse with potable water. (For cold ovens, dwell 15–20 min.)
• Carbon deposits: apply undiluted — dwell 5–10 min, scrub, wipe with damp cloth, rinse
• Grills & plates (light to moderate): 1:1 to 1:3 — apply, dwell 5–10 min, scrub with coarse pad, rinse thoroughly
• Grills & plates (heavy build-up): apply undiluted — dwell 5–10 min, scrape or coarse-scrub, rinse thoroughly
• Hoods & fans: 1:4 — spray, dwell 5–10 min, wipe with damp cloth, rinse
• Fryers: 1:30 — heat solution to ~80 °C for ~20 min, discard, rinse thoroughly with hot potable water

Caution: Highly alkaline. Do not use on aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, or galvanized iron. Keep from freezing. All food-contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water after cleaning. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. After cleaning grills and plates, neutralize surfaces with lemon juice or vinegar then re-coat with vegetable oil or animal fat to prevent rusting.
